If you remember me, I was that one guy who met up with you at the House Dance Conference that did liquid and digitz. Anyways, your projects are neat. Maybe you’ve already tackled some of the problems, but I had some ideas that may or may not be useful.

Regarding the water not dripping straight downwards, maybe you could somehow use string or wire to act as a guide for the water to drip downward, like how assassins drip deadly poison into people’s mouths while they are sleeping.

As for the splashing, maybe the problem would go away if the chamber was already full, provided that it was deep enough?

Ide say to fix the problem of the water not comming out of the all the holes you should either full a large tank and use that initially when putting water into the chamber so as to fill it up and make sure the average rate of the water filling up the chamber matches or closely matches the rate at which if falls from the chamber. Also using a guide for the water like Dad suggested maybe a clear plastic string or something would probably do wonders also, tho im not sure how you could rig that up without having much larger holes, which would make an even bigger problem with keeping the chamber full of water, Faster pumps i suppose, but if this is helpful at all let me know i guess. -David

The 1st thing I must say is, use oil, it’s far more managable, even if it’s judt vegetable oil. The second for the hole probem, perhaps use a funnel shape idea, like each hole would apear to be an upside down wizards hat, this would effect the durability however and may even cause it to sag if allot of wait is put on it.
Also I suggested on a comment on youtube, have you considered using a mist?
Also, another thing I considered was using a series of laser pointers, I’m not sure how you could get an image onto the beam itself but I can see a project like this going in that direction in the future. Anywho, nice work! I’ll be staying tuned.
