At this upcoming meeting, November 1st, I’ll be giving a talk about the Wiremap as well as a demonstration of Wiremap 1.01. Meetings are at 7pm, usually in a space in Soho called Location1. Come check it out and say hi.
Mostly, I’ll be rambling on about my experiences with the distinctions between digital 3d and analogue 3d, and where one ends and the next begins. Should be a good time.
Saw your demo last night – very cool. Just wanted to say that one thing I would’ve loved to see 3D’ed would be a couple of falling leaves – you know how they swing back and forth as they fall, sometimes showing a flat part, sometimes an edge? It was impressive-looking in my imagination anyway…

Yeah, I liked your demo too. The multidimensionality of it reminded me of a project I worked on in the past, with scenery projected on a window that reacted to a viewer/user – a sort of imaginary situation that you might encounter if you walked into a house built as a tesseract. I’m fascinated with the idea of visualizing multiple dimensions within the constraints of a three dimensional space. Also, I love your breakdancing with senior citizens..
